ODS Protective Services approach to event security and executive protection starts with a comprehensive threat assessment, analysing both the macro and micro threat environments associated with the event the visit of the dignitary such as its host the venue/environment, known or expected attendees, sponsors, historical events and political agendas. Our goal is to provide the host or coordinating committee with a realistic understanding of the real time threat, risk and vulnerability environment including a list of potential elements that may impact the safety and security of those involved, and the dignitary including the event as a whole with an assessment of factors having the potential to derail the agenda/narrative or negatively impact the reputation of the host and the dignitary. We examine the known and identified as well as perceived threats internal and external, and make mitigation recommendations.
